Stephen MacDonald – President and CEO
Stephen has been involved in the education space since the early 90s. His first exposure to the education market was through his involvement as VP Marketing for a publicly traded Post Graduate IT Training Institution in Canada and the USA. Stephen was instrumental in positioning this post-graduate program as the standard in North America and created a number of strategic partnerships with employers who sought the program’s graduates.
Recognising the structural IT transformation occurring in higher education, Stephen has consulted with several large organizations that use technology to deliver content in ways never done before. He has had the privilege of working together with Canadian, US and European universities and one of the top financial accreditations in the country assisting them in the development of their overall web presence. Prior to his direct involvement in the education and software areas, Stephen’s career began in Toronto where he held a senior brand management role with one of the world’s pre-eminent consumer packaged goods companies.
As President and CEO of Azorus, Stephen oversees the strategic direction of the company and manages all facets of business development and marketing efforts. He has been an active presenter at CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) Europe, AACRAO Strategic Enrollment Management, NACAC, and has also had the honour of speaking several times at Entrepreneurship and Leadership classes for business schools. His goal is to ensure that the Azorus suite of products is always relevant to the company’s clients and also to their clients – the students.
Ross Campbell – Director of Technology
As Director of Technology, Ross heads up the technical design and implementation of the Azorus CRM Solution. Ross has been with Azorus since 2009 and has managed during this time all technical aspects of the CRM system including a number of highly innovative applications. With over 10 years of enterprise level technical operations experience together with software engineering experience, Ross leads the growing software engineering team at Azorus. Ross is also actively involved with the company’s higher education clients and regularly meets with them to discuss the challenges and pain points that are unique to the higher education sector. His skill in taking development projects from planning through to production and support as well as his ability to manage multiple projects and people contributes to our client’s successes using our CRM platform.
Brad March – Director of Client Service & Delivery
Brad’s 18 years of experience in technology sector support and service roles have provided him with the skillset necessary for his position at Azorus. He has specialized in process improvement and implementation, been involved in running large, multi-million dollar projects from beginning to end, and overseen teams tasked with ensuring client satisfaction. He brings a PMP certification to this role along with extensive experience in planning, conceptualizing, creating procedures and reporting. With 5+ years’ experience in the HE market supporting clients and supporting multiple cross-functioning teams in a SaaS environment. Brad is the Director of Client Service and Delivery for Azorus. His role is to support Azorus Account Managers, is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering all functions related to the client experience at Azorus. This includes but not limited to support, design, and delivery of new features to clients.
